Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program

This one-year fellowship training program is aimed at providing a comprehensive exposure to all aspects of advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and palliative procedures in pulmonary medicine. At this time, we are able to offer only one position per year.

Knowledge of pulmonary and pleural diseases including lung cancer diagnosis and management of benign and malignant complex airway diseases is an essential foundation during the process of achieving competency with procedure skills. There will be formal didactics as well as opportunities to attend clinical presentations and educational conferences.

The fellow’s training will occur at The Ohio State University-Wexner Medical Center and University Hospital East.

Our goal is to ensure that the fellow is fully-trained and competent with the use of various diagnostic and therapeutic armamentariums that is available for the care of patients with complex airway, lung and pleural diseases.
