Dr. Clinton is recognized for his research in the areas of diet, nutrition, and cancer. He has been continuously funded through grants from the National Institutes of Health and National Cancer Institute for over 20 years. His laboratory group focuses primarily upon prostate and bladder cancer and their efforts include metabolic epidemiology, clinical intervention trials, as well as basic laboratory studies of cellular and molecular biology resulting in over 176 scientific publications, reviews, and book chapters. Dr. Clinton’s expertise enhances Ohio State’s great potential in this rapidly growing field, and his efforts create stronger links between laboratory discoveries, patient care, and public health.
