Fellowship Program

The Infectious Diseaes Fellowship Program at The Ohio State University is an innovative two year program that prepares individuals to be effective consultants in infectious diseases, and provides them with the fundamental training for a career in academic Infectious Diseases.  Second year fellows have the opportunity to enter the masters of public health program through the College of Public Health.  There also are options available for training as a medical scientist.

Individuals train at The Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University's extensive primary and tertiary care facilities for a full range of patient care activities and in the Division's dedicated clinical research programs of consults, mentor and translational laboratories for research endeavors.  This environment-together with a mix of consults, mentor relationships, outpatient opportunities, and meetings and conferences-offers a truly dynamic, comprehensive and exciting learning environment.
