Ohio State’s Lupus Clinic provides patients with lupus, vasculitis, and glomerulonephritis the opportunity to see a variety of specialists in one location. Patients can receive ongoing multidisciplinary care from rheumatologists and nephrologists with expertise in immune disorders, covering all organ systems involved with lupus. One location gives expert physicians the opportunity to discuss complex patients and obtain consultation from colleagues so the proper work up and treatments are implemented quickly.
Patients seen at this clinic are offered participation in a number of clinical trials. These trials seek to improve the effectiveness and outcomes of treatment options for systemic lupus and lupus nephritis.
