Dr. Anderson studies how IgG antibodies work; specifically, how they mediate cellular inflammatory and protective effects, how they are degraded, and how they are transported across the fetus from maternal to fetal circulation, how when complexed with antigen they are cleared from blood by the liver sinusoidal endothelial cells.
