Midwest Fellows Course on Interventional Pulmonology


The 4th Midwest Fellows Course on Interventional Pulmonology sponsored by the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine was held on November 19, 2010 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. The participants enjoyed the opportunity to practice the IP procedures on cadavers and models. This year's participants came from the University of Mannitoba, Canada; University of California, San Diego; Medical College of Wisconsin; Louisiana State University, University of Cincinnati; University of Kentucky and University of Toledo. The guest faculty included Dr. Praveen Mathur (IU), Dr. Rabih Bechara (Emory) and Dr. David Riker (UCSD). The OSU faculty inluded Drs. Nitin Bhatt, Eric Adkins, Andrew Twehues, Kapil Dhawan & Jerry Tran. Dr. Shaheen Islam was the Course Director.
