The OSU HIV-Associate Lung Disease Clinical Research Center is actively involved in research to better understand the development of lung disease, specifically emphysema, in the setting of HIV infection.
Our current Clinical Trials observe lung changes over time in patients who are HIV-seropositive, and use basic science to better understand the mechanisms of disease progression.
The HIV-Associated Lung Disease Research Center is under the direction of Philip Diaz, M.D.
