Nephrology Clinical Trials


The Division of Nephrology has an active clinical trials research program. With over 25 active trials, Division scientists in the Nephrology Clinical Trials Unit are investigating the following topics:
 

  • New drugs for the treatment of Class III, IV, and V lupus nephritis 
  • Erythropoietic Stimulating Agents for the Anemia of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) 
  • Phosphate Binders for the hyperphosphatemia of Chronic Kidney Disease 
  • Interventions to normalize Calcium-Phosphate-Parathyroid axis in Chronic Kidney Disease 
  • Treatment of Hypertension
  • Treatment of Kidney Allograft Rejection
