Pelotonia Profile: Sameek Roychowdhury


Funds raised through the bicycling event Pelotonia helped bring Sameek Roychowdhury back to Ohio State. Roychowdhury earned three degrees from Ohio State, then spent six years as a researcher and junior faculty member at the University of Michigan. He joined the Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute to study targeted gene therapies. The fifth annual Pelotonia bicycling event to benefit cancer research at Ohio State will be Aug. 9-11. Pelotonia has raised more than $42 million to date.
