Payment

 
All pre-travel charges are on a fee for service basis, as insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid, typically do not cover charges associated with pre-travel consultations. You should consult your carrier for questions of coverage. If you have Medicare please go to Advance Beneficiary Notice on Noncoverage (ABN) for more information.
We accept checks, cash, MasterCard and Visa, for payment at the time of service.

For OSU Employees

 

OSU Prime Care Payment

 
OSU Prime Care can be billed directly. Clients will be responsible for the appropriate co-pay at the time of service.

We accept checks, cash, MasterCard and Visa, for co-pays at the time of service.

Global Care Referral Services

 
If you are enrolled in OSU Prime Care or any other OSU health plan, you and your dependents are automatically covered by OSU’s Global Care program. Global Care provides 24-hour health care referrals when you travel outside of Ohio. The referrals include medical care providers in more than 190 countries, language interpretation services, pre-trip consultations, and more.

You are also eligible for Global Care when traveling on university sponsored business even if you are not enrolled in an OSU medical plan.

In order to ensure health and safety, students, faculty and staff planning on traveling abroad for study or research must notify the Office of International Affairs.
