Dr. Lustberg joined the faculty in 2011. He completed his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at OSU in 2009. From 2009 to 2011 Mark worked as a Clinical Instructor in Infectious Diseases, seeing patients on the consult service and following patients in his clinic, while working as a researcher on an NIH Postdoctoral fellowship (T-32) grant. Dr. Robert Baiocchi, MD, PhD, a physician and researcher in the Comprehensive Cancer Center was Mark’s mentor and his research involved the study of EBV immuno-oncology and development of therapeutic strategies for EBV-associated tumors.
Special Interests
Dr. Lustberg’s primary focus is on treating infectious diseases in the immunocompromised host especially the patient with cancer.
