Working to Advance AIDS Treatment

What is the ACTU?

The ACTU is The Ohio State University AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. The unit is one of 30 sites nationwide that conduct federally-sponsored research studies for the treatment of HIV and AIDS and related illnesses. An expert, interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and social workers staff the ACTU, and are ready to answer your questions.

At the ACTU, volunteers can participate in studies sponsored by pharmaceutical companies and receive referrals to other research programs at The Ohio State University. There are many good reasons to volunteer. Click here to learn more.
