Mission Statement

The OSU Infectious Diseases (ID) Travel Medicine Clinic is devoted to the promotion of the health of the international traveler through education as well as the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of travel related illnesses.

  • The OSU ID Travel Medicine Clinic serves the medical needs of the adult (18 years and older) traveling community.

  • Our ID specialists are experts, familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of travel-related illnesses and infections. (link to the directory web page).  They provide comprehensive travel-related medical services including immediate access to general and destination specific information, immunizations, precautions and essential medications for the prevention of travel related illnesses and injuries.

  • Our ID specialists also offer post-travel evaluation and medical care should complications or illnesses arise in the post travel period.  As experts in infectious diseases we are uniquely qualified to provide these services.

  • The OSU ID Travel Medicine Clinic offers a full range of vaccines.
  • The OSU ID Travel Medicine Clinic is a WHO (World Health Organization), CDC (Center for Disease Control), and ODH (Ohio Department of Health) approved yellow fever vaccination center.
