Associate Professor of Medicine

Dr. Maher has extensive clinical experience in infectious diseases and a special interest in travel medicine.  Dr. Maher is also in charge of coordinating medical education for OSU students, residents, and fellows in Infectious Diseases.

Shu-Hua Wang, MD, MPH & TP
Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Wang has a masters degree in tropical medicine from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.  She also has a crtificate of knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Traveler’s Health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Diane Orlov, CNP

Diane Orlov is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who brings over 15 years of medical experience as a registered nurse.  Diane received a Bachelor Degree in Nursing, a Masters degree in Nursing, and a Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the Ohio State University College of Nursing.  She has been an instructor of nursing at The Ohio State University College of Nursing and is currently part of the adjunct faculty there.   Diane has worked in travel medicine for many years and has been with the Division of Infectious Diseases for 3 years.

The OSU Infectious Diseases Travel Clinic is staffed by Diane Orlov, NP, with consultative services from Dr. William Maher, MD, and Dr. Shu-Hua Wang, MD, MPH & TM.
