The Ohio State University Hospitals is the primary inpatient facility at the OSU Medical Center for immunology and rheumatology patients. A referral hospital for Ohio and contiguous areas of West Virginia, University Hospitals includes several patient care units: - Rhodes Hall, 355 beds;
- Doan Hall, 422 beds; and
- Upham Hall, 94 beds.
The OSU Hospital complex also includes Dodd Hall, a 72-bed rehabilitation unit and the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, a 160-bed facility. Dodd Hall provides instruction in inpatient rehabilitation, and the James Cancer Hospital represents an additional population for consultative services. The Columbus Children's Hospital, a 313-bed pediatric hospital in Columbus located three miles from OSU, is used for pediatric training. The Children's Hospital Arthritis Center serves as a referral center for more than 3 million individuals throughout Ohio.
