Welcome to the web page for the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at The Ohio State University. We appreciate your interest in our program and invite you to browse through our site to learn more about us.
Our Fellowship Program offers two different training pathways: (1) a combined Hematology/Oncology Fellowship that is a 3-year program and offers dual board eligibility in both Hematology and Medical Oncology and (2) a Medical Oncology Fellowship that is a 2-year program that offers board eligibility in Oncology. The overall goal of our fellowship is to provide fellows with a complete training program designed to enhance their clinical skills, scientific knowledge, and research training in order to become outstanding clinicians and investigators. We also provide protected time for each fellow to pursue either laboratory or clinical research projects in an area of his/her interest.
The strengths of our program include rigorous clinical training, with exposure to a diverse patient population, a wealth of educational opportunities, experienced mentors, and committed time to pursue either laboratory and patient-oriented/translational research. Many of our faculty are world-recognized experts in the fields of hematology and oncology and are committed to clinical and laboratory-based research.
