Family HealthLink is an online, automated risk assessment tool that provides individuals with information about their risk for cancer and coronary heart disease based on their personal and family history. All users of this free service receive a tailored risk assessment stating a qualitative level of risk (high, moderate, or average), appropriate recommendations for screening, and a recommendation for genetic counseling for those at high risk.
PTEN Predict Risk Model
This model can be used to predict the likelihood that a person would be found to have a mutation in the PTEN gene, based on the presence or absence of the clinical features listed. Note that four separate models are provided depending on whether the person is in the pediatric or adult age groups, and is male or female.
VUS Predict is an algorithm for the classification of variants of uncertain significance in BRCA1 and BRCA2 that uses clinical and histopathological information about a person’s diagnosis of breast and/or ovarian cancer, information about where in the gene the mutation is and information about the evolutionary conservation of the type of change in order to classify uncertain variants as neutral or deleterious.
