Research Interests
Dr. Manickam has residency training in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics. His research interests are in the care of adults with childhood diagnoses of genetic conditions such as Down syndrome and Williams syndrome. Additionally he is interested in the use of genetics and genomics for preventative, anticipatory care. Pharmacogenetics and the implications of the application of genomic testing are also areas of research. He is a member of the OSU Center for Personalized Health Care in addition to being faculty at OSU Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital.
