Dr. Agnese is uniquely trained in both surgical oncology and clinical cancer genetics. As a faculty member in the Division of Surgical Oncology and the Division of Human Genetics, she practices as a high-risk breast surgeon and clinical cancer geneticist. Her research interests lie in all aspects of surgical oncology and cancer genetics, especially BRCA1- and BRCA2-related breast carcinogenesis, as well as the proper surgical management of individuals at hereditary risk of breast cancer.
