Our Division Director, Dr. Linda Strout, passed away 9/23/11... Dr. Strout made an enormous impact on our lives. She cared deeply for her patients, and represented the best in primary care. As Division Director, she worked very hard to recruit new physicians and to improve access for patients. She was dedicated to advising and mentoring the faculty and trainees who are interested in primary care. She was strongly supportive of developing the Residency Track in Primary Care within the Department of Medicine, and worked diligently with her colleagues to bring this important program into existence.
