About the Division

We are committed to excellence in clinical care, education of medical students, residents, fellows, and patients, and to new discovery to improve the care of patients with endocrine and endocrine-related disorders through laboratory and clinical research. Our Division has a long history of outstanding performance in all of these areas and has recognized programs in Diabetes, Thyroid Cancer and other Thyroid Disorders, Adrenal and Pituitary Disorders, and Metabolic Bone Disease. Our board-certified Endocrinologists provide clinical care for patients with all forms of endocrine diseases. We have outstanding and dedicated clinical staff including nurses, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, diabetes educators, and administrative assistant who work as a team to provide patients, students and trainees, and faculty and staff with the most personalized and proactive experience possible. Our education programs for patients support clinical practices throughout the region.  Our experts in endocrinology accept referrals from the region as well as from around the country. From an educational perspective we have a long-standing ACGME-approved Endocrinology fellowship program that has trained outstanding clinical and academic endocrinologists for more than 30 years. We also have outstanding researchers ranging from basic science in thyroid cancer and endocrine oncology to clinical trials in a variety of disorders and directing large programs that support research across the University campus that have led to funding of both a Program Project Grant from National Cancer Institute.  We have close interactions with the Diabetes Research Center as part of our research and clinical programs. We are proud of our accomplishments and our team, but we strive to improve in all areas with a goal to improve the health and lives of our patients through clinical practice, education, and new discovery. Welcome again to our Division and please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Best wishes
