The faculty members of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism see a broad spectrum of endocrine diseases. The Division has over 30 outpatient clinics that are available to medical students, house officers and fellows. Since endocrinology is largely an outpatient subspecialty, every clinical endocrine disorder, from pituitary and adrenal disorders to thyroid disease and diabetes mellitus, is seen in the clinics. Pediatric and reproductive endocrinology rotations are provided through arrangement with Children's Hospital and the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology. There are approximately 11,000 outpatient visits per year to the Diabetics and Endocrine clinics.
