Our Educational Team is committed to helping our residents develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen career path. Along with Dr. David Wininger there are four Associate/Assistant Program Directors, three chief medical residents and a wonderful support staff dedicated to the educational mission of the residency. Take a moment to meet these individuals:

David Wininger, MD Residency Program Director Dr. David Wininger has been on the OSU faculty since 1995, assuming the Program Director role in 2007 after 4 years as an Associate Program Director. As a new intern he was asked what he wanted to "become" by his Infectious Diseases attending/IM Program Director, and he responded "You!". Linking residents with inspiring mentors is one of the joys of his job. He and his wife have 4 children, ages 9-15.
