About the Division

Advanced Practicing Nurses

At OSUWMC we have a robust Nurse Practioner Program that is designed to provide high quality care to our GHN patients. I work closely with them in order to facilitate scheduling patients as well as help to educate Nurse Practioners regarding new developments in the field of gastroenterology. I am also available to them for questions they may have on difficult patients. We are also developing a Nurse Practioner Inpateint service in order to help facilitate transition of care from the inpatient to the outpatient setting.

We have Nurse Practioners in a  variety of specialties, ranging from General GI, Pancreatic Disorders, IBD, and Hepatology.  They all work closely with Collaborating Physicians and do an excellent job in helping to facilitate the care of GHN patients.
