Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Receives Diversity in Cardiology Award from the Association of Black Cardiologists
We are pleased to announce that The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is this year’s recipient of the Diversity in Cardiology Award from the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC), based on our commitment to and promotion of diversity in the cardiology workforce. The ABC is dedicated to eliminating disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color. One of its major activities is urging medical schools to admit more African Americans to cardiology training programs. The 2012 Diversity in Cardiology Award will be conferred at the Third Annual Saving Hearts for Generations Awards Dinner to be held on September 22, 2012 in Washington, DC.
