Dr. Quinn Capers is a clinical assistant professor and Director of peripheral vascular interventions in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University medical Center. Dr. Capers’ clinical interests include complex coronary and peripheral arterial interventions, hypertensive cardiovascular disease, and peripheral arterial disease. His research interests are vascular biology and high-risk coronary and vascular interventions.
Experience Dr. Capers joined Ohio State University Medical Center from private practice, most recently in Columbus.
Education/Specialty Training Dr. Capers obtained his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Capers’ postgraduate training includes an internal medicine residency, molecular vascular biology research fellowship, cardiovascular medicine fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship all at Emory University, Atlanta. He is a former individual NIH grantee as a fellow, and a former assistant clinical professor at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical Colleges in Nashville. He has authored several articles on the topic of proinflammatory gene expression in the vascular wall
