Ragavendra R. Baliga, MD, MBA, FACC, FRCP (Edin)
Experience: Dr. Baliga is Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine, Director and Chief, Section of Cardiovascular Medicine at Ohio State University Hospital East. He is well known for his contributions to medical education and is author of several books including 250 Cases in Medicine, Elsevier, and Self-Assessment in Clinical Medicine, W.B. Saunders. he is the co-editor of the book Practical Cardiology published by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. Dr. Baliga is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He is on the editorial board of the American College of Cardiology Journal Review and Senior Consulting Editor for Heart Failure Clinics of North America, Elsevier.
Education: Dr. Baliga received his medical degree from St. John's Medical College, Bangalore University, India. He received his Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
Clinical Interests: Heart failure, hypertension, atherosclerosis, atrial fibrillation, angina, cardiovascular disease in African Americans.
