The Facility

The Ross Heart Hospital, located within The Ohio State University Medical Center, is a 100-bed state-of-the-art hospital dedicated to providing complete care to a person whose condition arises from cardiovascular disease, including heart or peripheral vascular disorders.

The Ross Heart Care Team focuses on bettering the health and quality of life of each individual by improving that patient’s cardiovascular wellness. Universal patient rooms, where the patient is the center of care delivered by a multidisciplinary healthcare team, symbolize this unique and holistic approach to each patient’s needs.

Patients at the Ross Heart Hospital benefit from OSU’s clinical and scientific expertise in cardiovascular medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular sugery, transplant surgery, radiology, pharmacy, nursing and from the innovative research leadership of the Dorothy M.
