Dr. James Ryan is an Associate Professor in Internal Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Ryan is extensively published in peer reviewed journals, including Circulation, American Journal of Non-invasive Cardiology and Journal of Cardiology. He has authored books, including “Risk Stratifications Post Myocardial Infarction” in Contemporary Internal Medicine Clinical Case Studies and has made numerous invited presentations at professional gatherings. Dr. Ryan’s dedication has lead to successful fundraising efforts with nearly $12 million generated to support the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University and cardiovascular research. He is a member or fellow of several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

 

Experience

Dr. Ryan has been practicing medicine nearly 25 years and has been teaching since 1985. He specializes in noninvasive diagnostics and served as medical director, University Hospital Clinics prior to his present responsibilities.
