Board Certified In Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease
Dr. David Orsinelli is associate professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Orsinelli has participated in a number of clinical investigations, including a study which investigated echocardiographic indices of remodeling following myocardial infarction. He is currently participating in several clinical trials which employ echocardiography. He has co-authored several book chapters, including “Unstable Heart Failure,” in Atlas of Heart Failure, as well as having authored articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Current Treatment Options in Cardiovascular Medicine and the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Orsinelli serves as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association.

Dr. Orsinelli has been practicing medicine for 14 years and comes to OSU Medical Center following his training and after having served as assistant professor of Medicine, St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo and before that, assistant instructor in Medicine, Brown University Program in Medicine, Providence, R.I.
