Dr. David Hart is a cardiologist practicing at OSU Cardiovascular
Medicine in Circleville, Ohio. He is also a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and a career electrophysiologist at The Ohio State University Medical Center where he implants pacemakers and defibrillators and also performs ablations for irregular heart rhythms. He is specifically interested in pulmonary vein ablations/isolation procedures for the cure of atrial fibrillation. He has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and has presented at the American College of Cardiology Annual Scientific Session. He is currently involved in research on atrial fibrillation ablations and the evaluation of syncope.

Dr. Hart has been practicing medicine more than 15 years on an international basis. He comes to OSU Medical Center from St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital in New York; prior to that he practiced in England at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield, Yeovil District Hospital in Yeovil and Queen’s Medical Center in Nottingham. He began his career in general medicine, surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics/ gynecology during his internship at Yaba Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.
