Board Certified In Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease

 

Dr. Glen Cooke is assistant professor of medicine, The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and director of the Molecular Biology and Genotyping Laboratory, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, the OSU College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Cooke is also a member of the Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects and preceptor for the Physical Exam Course, both at The Ohio State University.  He is principal investigator for a National Institutes of Health study to evaluate the role of genetics and pharmacogenetic antiplatelet strategies in coronary artery disease patients. The author or co-author of numerous abstracts and articles in publications such as Circulation, American Heart Journal, the Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Cooke is also a requested speaker at scholarly gatherings, including Baylor College of Medicine Cardiology Grand Rounds, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital/Texas Heart Institute and The Ohio State University Medical Center.

 

Experience

Dr. Cooke joined OSU Medical Center after having served as attending cardiologist and attending physician, Cardiology Associates in Bellefontaine, Oh, and St. Vincent Medical Center Satellite Office in Grand Rapids, Oh, respectively.
