Board Certified In Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease Dr. Charles Bush is Medical Director of the OSU Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. He is professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and previous director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Bush is a long-time leader at OSU, having served as chief of staff in the 1990s and director of the cardiac catheterization labs for 26 years. A world-class expert in the field of cardiovascular care, Dr. Bush has authored more than 100 articles, abstracts and books/chapters and served on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed publications, including Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Catheterization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis. Dr. Bush’s research interests range from percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty to thrombolytic therapies. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and Society of Cardiac Angiography Intervention. Experience Dr. Bush has been practicing medicine nearly 40 years, in continuous affiliation with OSU Medical Center. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, having attained the rank of Captain.
