Catheterization/ Interventional Conference
Monday 7:00- 8:00 a.m.

This informal conference covers diagnostic catherization, hemodynamics and interventional cardiology and is held once per week. The fellows role is to present interesting cases from the cath lab and to present 1-2 recent articles regarding the patients presented.

Echocardiography Conference
Wednesday 7:00-8:00 a.m.

This informal conference emphasizes echocardiography and is a combination of teaching echo reading, hemodynamics learned from echocardiography, and presenting interesting cases. The fellow(s) rotating through the echocardiographic lab together with the attending echocardiographer selects the cases for presentation.

This conference is a didactic conference presented by fellows, faculty, and visitors. Each fellow is required to present two conferences during the year as a formal presentation, One of these conferences is an assigned topic which is rotated every 36 months according to the cardiology curriculum and will involve subjects pertinent to the ischemic heard disease, arrhythmias, hemodynamics, valvular or pericardial disease.
Cardiology- Cardiovascular Surgery Conference
Saturday 8:00-9:00a.m.

This is an informal conference in combination with cardiovascular surgery and anesthesia, where interesting patients are presented on an informal basis. Data is provided by the fellows and may include imaging procedures with echocardiography, cardiac catherization data, x-rays, or other imaging procedures such as CT or MRI scans. Pediatric cardiology and surgery are also included.
Board Review Conference
3rd Thursday of each month, 12-1 pm in 215 HLRI
