The Ohio State University Department of Internal Medicine provides a unique and dynamic learning environment for residents, stressing the importance of clinical excellence and dedication to scholarship.

As participants in the inaugural group of programs in the ACGME Educational Innovations Project, the faculty and residents of our program are actively involved in shaping residency education for the future. In 2005 OSU was selected as 1 of 17 programs to participate in the project and so granted a 10 year credentialing cycle. This selection placed OSU in the top 5% of Internal Medicine residencies and reinforced OSU as a leader in residency education.
