Deepak grew up in suburban Detroit. After high school he attended both college and medical school at Northwestern University before coming to Ohio State University for residency. His primary clinical interest is in gastroenterology and hepatology and to this end he plans to pursue fellowship after his chief residency. Outside of work Deepak enjoys spending time with his fiancee, family and friends and is an avid sports fan.
